"JUDE Ⅱ" New Standard Straight by 66 Selvedge Denim

生前のリバー・フェニックスが着用していたデニムをイメージし、JUDEをアップデートさせた "JUDE Ⅱ"。

 

よりリラックス感のあるストレートシルエットへと進化しました。JUDEはティーンエイジャーをイメージしていましたが、後継モデルでは青年期のリバーが履いた、緩やかなデニムパンツをイメージ。

 

ウエスト周り、ポケット、カンヌキの位置など、50sの SEARS ROEBUCK のワークデニムのディテールをミックスさせたデザインに。

 

今シーズンより、生地も変更。

リーバイス66前期の製品を紐解き、細部まで研究し、リプロダクトされたセルヴィッチデニムを使用。

 

異なる数種のムラ形状の糸を使い、66前期の特徴であるタテの色落ちがシャープなムラ感を再現する14ozデニムに仕上げました。

 

ヒップポケットのオリジナル革パッチも、ワンアクセントに。

フロントファスナー裏には、ヴィンテージアイテムに見られるバーコードケアラベルを配し、細かなディテールからシルエットまで、すべてを一新。

JUDE II” is an updated version of JUDE, inspired by the denim worn by River Phoenix before his death.

 

The JUDE was inspired by the image of teenagers, but the successor model was inspired by the loose denim pants worn by River in his youth.

 

The design mixes the details of the 50s SEARS ROEBUCK work denim, such as the waist area, pockets, and cankle position.

 

From this season, the fabric has also been changed.

The fabric has been changed this season, using a reproduced selvage denim after researching the details of Levi's 66 early period products.

 

Using several different types of threads with different irregularities, we have created a 14oz denim that reproduces the sharp irregularity of the warp fading characteristic of the early 66's. The original leather patch on the hip pocket has also been changed.

On the back of the front zipper, a barcode care label seen on vintage items is placed, and everything from the smallest detail to the silhouette has been completely renewed.
