"RIVER Ⅱ" New Flare by 66 Selvedge Denim

デニムパンツはシルエット・装いを新たに2 型を展開。

程よいフレアシルエットの新型 "RIVER Ⅱ" は、80sのLevi’s 517をベースに、ウエスト周り、ポケット、カンヌキの位置など、50sの SEARS ROEBUCK のワークデニムのディテールをミックスさせたデザイン。

今シーズンより生地も変更。
リーバイス66前期の製品を紐解き、細部まで研究し、リプロダクトされたセルヴィッチデニムを使用。

異なる数種のムラ形状の糸を使い、66前期の特徴であるタテの色落ちがシャープなムラ感を再現する14ozデニムに仕上げました。

 

今まで使用していた 80’s Reproduced Denim よりも、深い色落ちで、表面のざらつきが抑えられ、しっとりとした質感が特徴。

 

ヒップポケットのオリジナル革パッチも、ワンアクセントに。

フロントファスナー裏には、ヴィンテージアイテムに見られるバーコードケアラベルを配し、細かなディテールからシルエットまで、すべてを一新。

Two types of denim pants with new silhouettes and outfits.

The new “RIVER II” model, with a moderately flared silhouette, is based on the Levi's 517 from the 80s, and mixes the details of the 50s SEARS ROEBUCK work denim, such as the waist, pockets, and the position of the cankers.

The fabric has also been changed from this season.

Using several different types of threads with different irregularities, we have created a 14oz denim that reproduces the sharp irregularity in the vertical fading that is a characteristic of the early 66s.

 

The color fades deeper than the 80's Reproduced Denim used until now, and the surface roughness is suppressed, resulting in a moist texture.

 

The original leather patch on the hip pockets adds an accent.

On the back of the front zipper, a barcode care label seen on vintage items is placed, and everything from the smallest detail to the silhouette has been completely renewed.
